CRAVINGS TIME

Shared by Ling @ H1ME

YO YO YOO! It's another outing with Erika and Ling! So basically, Erika craved for some sushi, and we just #yoloed and went to get some sushi in this horrible freezing weather. (feeling -28°C) #WereallyloveyouCanada

So here is another review of what we ate through this awesomely cold day! We didn't aim for any special cuisine this time, but meh, it's still food lah. We've already been to all these places quite a few time, but we never really reviewed them? Although the taste has always been the same LOL

....and yeah, we do have to admit that we always eat when we meet up :D #foodislyfe

Restaurant Sushi Restaurant
Review: 3 stars?

This is our second time together here. Too bad we couldn't go with HaNeul and Sandy.. But you know, us two preggo women can never say no to sushi no matter what. hihihi.

So when we walked in.. I don't think Erika saw me, but like, madame who was judging us 24/7 greeted us. I had a little horror face there, but oh well, I don't think she remembered me. Good, or else, she'd probably shake her head again. And I promise, I didn't say anything stupid this time. Or did I? I probably did, but meh. Hihihi.

As always, food was pretty good, and this time we didn't order too much.. Fishes weren't exactly the most fresh, but still pretty edible. Since we've already been here before, we knew what to order, and what not. So basically, it's just pretty okay for everything. Not exactly, the best, nor the worst, just in between.

AND HOLA. WE GOT SERVED BY THE MASTER. Did you ever get served by THE master? Huh? But wait.. the lady who gave us the bill basically had a "I'm very done with life" face.. does it mean that THE master of Odaki is "very done with life"? Ohoho, I volunteer myself to be the next master pleaseuh.

To end this review, here's a close up of the fruity sushi.. Weird, but sweetly sour, hihi.

Ling was preventing me from eating ;-; just so she can take a picture.

Le Painnamou Bakery
Review: FIVE BIG FATTY STARS

Erika has been wanting to try this bingsoo for a while now. We had some at Atti Restaurant... which wasn't exactly tasty.. But this one? YUMMY HEY HO!

I'm not a fan of mango. But I kind of unfortunately lost to rock-paper-scissor to Erika, although I should've expected that.. I kinda never win? But anyway, it was pretty good. The shaved ice was just so so good. And syrup was also sweet, like duh! Didn't exactly taste like mango until the end. So I did survive! Hooray!
Erika: THIS WAS THE BEST. EVEN IN THIS FREEZING WEATHER. *-* (i love mangoes hihi)

As for service, the people were nice. Wait, no, nice and awkward, yeah. So basically nikward? The lady at the cash was kind of practicing her French, and the other boy had this very French-y accent. And you know, people, he was mad cleaning skills. He doesn't mind you to step where he just cleaned. But because we are considerate toward humans, we avoided them clean spots and jumped toward the exit and even closed the door so that they don't die from the cold! Woohoo, we're pretty nice, eh?

Nosthés Bistro
Review: 4½ stars, 'cuz it can't been Le Painnamou's ultra awkwardly nice service

As always, our favorite little bubble tea shop. Been fans of this shop since it was located at the very secluded corner of St-Mathieu where the washroom had a big sign of "DO NOT THROW PAPER IN THE TOILET, OR IT'LL COME BACK AT YOU" up until this beautifully renovated place. Still as good as ever, although they don't have the awesome Blue Forest anymore, sad.

Service is just so-so, except for the lady who took our last order today, like we had a notebook ready to order everything, she got a pen and paper to note them all! So yay for LTE writting and good ear waitress!

Anyway, the food.. The food food, isn't much of our taste, but the drinks? Heck yeah! Like THE best place for bubble tea of Montreal. We fell in love with the very tasty tea of this place around a year or two ago. Still as good as ever!

And to finish this off, here's a little, well not too little, but yeah.. Beautiful light decorations on Ste-Catherine streets! It's a close-up version from the Christmas trees post.Very pretty, right? Hihi.
