General Overview
(LATE) Happy Lunar New Year everyone!! This year is the Red (Fire) Monkey year! And of course, this year feature the beautiful and sweet and soft peaches ♥

So! For our special day, we decided to go Chinese because we're a bunch of Chinese girls (or well, at least half-Chinese but you get the point). Unfortunately, this time, Sandy backed out because of family. But oh well, more food for us! For this week's food, we went to EAST Pan Asiatique (not sure if that's their whole name, but Google says so~) and got some Dim Sum-ishy food! It recently just opened, under Renaissance Hotel.

It's a Chinese Cuisine Restaurant/Bar with a Western touch. The overall ambiance of the place was wonderful. Although we were alone for a good hour, this place was fancy and wonderful. Totally high class! Even if we didn't really dressed up appropriately and neither of us knew how fancy this place was.... Yeah, we didn't Google and just went there because why not :D

The service here is top notched! What to expect from such fancy restaurant, right? The lady who served us always made sure we were enjoying our food and was really really nice. A+ to you, young lady! OMG. Imagine if she was older, but got the "Asian" genes and looks half of her age. Man, that'd be funny. Anyway. Everything was excellent, totally recommended if you want to enjoy a fancy a Westernized Chinese cuisine!

Dim Sum - Haw Gow & Soup of the Day

Cantonese Chow Mein

Erika's verdict
I found this place from a blog and decided we should go and try it out! The dim sum was great and the chow mein was full of flavor! To be honest, I HATED the soup. It tasted like barf, but that's my personal opinion. The juice came warm :( but they gave us a cup of ice so I guess it was okay? The service was great though! The staff is very nice and welcoming! On another note, don't go there without expecting to pay at least 30$. #Broke

Ling's verdict
I'm going to be 100% honest, I had really no idea of this place because Erika was the one suggesting it. And unlike the usual me, I didn't Google it. But hey, at least we got some fancy food! The Dim Sum part was delicious, although a bit hot, but delicious. The mustard was just mustard tasting and the hot sauce was a bit sour, like I feel there was some garlic and fish sauce in there.. Does it? Oh well, still pretty good. Mix both of them and you get an awesome combo man.
Now, the main menu. Another honest confession, when we got in, I was a little skeptical because of a past experience.. But when you a take a bite of the food, it's actually pretty good! Obviously, the authenticity of Chinese food isn't really there, but the way they Westernized was awesome. All the spices and ingredients match very well together. It was a plate full of flavour! (Why does Blogger tell me that I gotta write "flavor" and not "flavour" >:( Got a problem if I'm the British writing way Canadian?) That said, this place was wonderfully fancy and high class service!

Guava (Juice) Drink

And of course, ending our review with the menu!
