General Overview

Sorry for the late review for last week again!

SO! Mai Xiang Yuan!! Already very biased. This is literally the best dumpling spot. You can't find anywhere else that serves as delicious dumplings in Montreal - Ling. Although a very small place, they still offer the best food!

Their ambiance became a lot nicer and quieter since they moved to this smaller location. They were actually next door with a green sign. But they probably struggled financially to keep the bigger location open so moved to this place instead. Hey, rent is becoming expensive okay.

The only downside is that the table were sticky when we arrived and we were very cramped.. What to expect from a small place.. Plus the leaking water in their small places and cups. That wasn't too pleasant but we got napkins and dried that so it's okay~

The dumplings we chose were pretty good. 
Honestly, I was quite hesitant and afraid of choosing the pork and mushroom, because of a previous incident regarding mushrooms ( Ahem, isn't that right Ling? lol) Either way, it was good, but it wasn't anything special. It kind of remind me of a dish my mom made. 
The dumplings with pork, coriander and shrimp were also good. The most surprising thing in these dumplings was the fact they put a whole piece of shrimp in each dumplings instead of putting small pieces. 
The dumplings that surprised me the most were the beef and curry. It was different from the dumplings I usually eat and I found that it was an amazing combination. 
Overall, all the dumplings are delicious. I would definitely go to that restaurant again in the future.
