A New Experience.. with Indian Food!

General Overview
So. First off. We gotta say we wanted to try Indian food for a very long time. Probably in Summer? Not sure when it happened, but we really wanted to try. And don't judge us.. We never at Indian cuisine before so we don't know the food etiquette, sorry..

This newly opened Indian restaurant replaced Qing Hua Dumpling. We came here last year for our Nomnomnom month (a.k.a April = Daily Food). Sadly, we won't have express dumplings near Concordia anymore, but oh well. New variety around!

According to the paper on their door, it got promoted by Mtl Blog, and this is their second restaurant in Montreal! The first one is on Jean-Talon Ouest, kinda far and off our road, so we'd never really pass by there anyway, oops. Seems like their business is pretty good to open a second one in downtown! Good luck to our friends! (yes, our friends, they nice people)

Anyway, as newbies in an Indian restaurant, we were kinda chicken (Get it? We were chicken so we got chicken hihihihi, sorry..) to go in because you know, we don't know anything LOL. We went in and out like 2 or 3 times, they probably thought we were crazy. But once really in, we didn't go back out, no worries, we got our food!

The inside was similar to Qing Hua's decors. Nothing really changed, except that they put up some Indian tapestry, the rest looked the same. Quite cozy and friendly.

Back to the food. We barely knew anything off the menu so we chose what was the most "pleasing and cute to read", or maybe it's just Ling.

Oh boy. Guys. If you never tried Indian, be ready for the spice. Yeah, we're totally not good with spicy food. Still tasty, but spicy. However, overall, Erika probably got it worse that Ling since hers was basically curry curry curry. We also got samosas!! We forgot to take a picture cuz yo, they're hella tasty okay. They're a bit spiced up as well, but still sooo good~

Chicken Thali Tikka
Ling's verdict
So. According to Google, there is the tikka chicken, but also some jewelry and rifles? Well then, we learn a bit every day about others' culture. /that was just random. Honestly, I found the food quite good, like wow. Except the spiciness. We are just bad at handling spicy food.. See our Fire Noodle Challenge... We died.. Like the whole food is so flavourful. Gotta get used to spices yo. I want more.
Oh the Thums up! It's cola but with a punchy gaz thing. Like kapow wooh! We ended up with some bubble tea at Formosa. Our old love of our life before Nosthés arrived. Tho, I still think Formosa is pretty good. The only thing is that we gotta go up the stairs.. Hihi.

Chicken Thali Kabab
Erika's verdict
Okay let's start this review off with a philosophical question. Have you guys ever regretted your choice of food? Because the moment I started to eat it, I could feel immediate regret. It was REALLY good. BUT REALLY spicy too. Like. It was extremely flavorful and *7* but holy poop it was hot.

Mango Lassi
Soft Drink Thums Up

So Ling kinda forgot to zoom in for the menu, but here it is. You can just zoom in yourself, it's pretty HD anyway, hihi~

Random picture ending our day in downtown. There was a science exposition in Concodia. Not sure when it happened, but yeah. That's after the installation all done. Kinda creepy tho.
