FRESH SUSHI & DESSERT TIME

General Overview
The most authentic sushi you can get in Montreal/Saint-Laurent they said. We quite believe them, we say. Hihi. But yo, the food was quite tasty. Like holy yeah good tasty!

The way the dishes were made at this restaurant was slightly different from other sushi places in Montreal. For example: the "sushi pizza", usually you would chewy/crispy rice patty in the bottom and with a mix of chopped raw fish and spicy mayonnaise on top. However, at Kyoto, their sushi pizza was rice in the bottom, a layer of seaweed, some crispy flakes, topped with salmon, tuna and avocado! And as opposed to other restaurants it's served in a square shape and there are 6 pieces to it. #intriguing. The plate below is the C1 combo with a HIME roll and the sushi pizza. (was disappointed to know that it was 16 pieces of small maki. Erika wasn't for that idea but Ling went ahead anyway =n= ) nevertheless, it was very tasty!

However, we lowered down a star because of the long wait before we could get our food. We understand there was only 1 chef, but there was only another table in the restaurant. We waited about 20-30 minutes before the food came each time. Had the time to chitchat about life y'know.

General Overview
Our usual dessert spots when we stay in Saint-Laurent for food! This place is the finest Italian desserts place you can get around here. If someone dares to refute, please do suggest us another place, but we'll still argue that this is the best dessert spot in Saint-Laurent. ♥

So far we never really tasted anything other than their sweets, so we won't comment on their food or their beverages, but trust us, we've heard so many good review on their food, it's amazing. When you get in, you're nicely welcome with a big variety of choice! - We forgot to take pictures of the actual pastry choices, but hey, we got 3 now. And probably more if you follow our blog! - From Mille Feuille to Cheesecakes to Éclair to any cakes, really. So good. They also do cookies, cupcakes, cakepops and macarons! Tons of delicious goods!

Today's service was a little slow, but it was only for the macarons. The lady who served us went in the back to get us fresh macarons, thank you lady. Only thing though. The way she packed it wasn't aesthetically pleasing to our taste. But that's just a small small flaw, nothing too bad. Macarons still taste good like always~

Also! While we were eating our pastries, there was this couple next to us who were ordering their wedding cake, and yo it sounds interesting.

Long story short, Erika loved her dessert, Ling found hers a bit too sweet and Sandy.. Well Sandy :)
