H1ME NEW YEAR OUTING!!

Woohoo! New Year means another complete H1ME outing!! ♥

Since it's the very first day of the year, there aren't many places that are open... So we're back in Chinatown, where most, if not all, places are open!! Hihi~

Actually, Ling has been craving hot pot for a while (didn't know there was going to be hotpot for the night before but ey, food is food), so the others tagged along too, although, let's be honest, hotpot is always nice for a cold weather like this. PLUS! It's meat meat meat plus some side veggies hihi

We were hesitant between Shabu Shabu and Little Sheep before, but Little Sheep was closer, therefore, less walk in the colder, therefore Little Sheep it is!!

PS: Sorry for the delay for posting this... Someone got lazy and kept forgetting to update this hihi~

Eh... We usually have more pictures for New Year outing but some how we didn't take a lot so yeah.. Just look at our yummy food, thank you~

Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot (小肥羊)

Let's be very honest, the meat is delicious, so good job on that.
Sandy actually got excited to eat meat since she's been on some non-meat diet with her family. But seriously tho, the food was really good. All except the octopus, or what Ling calls, them tentacles!!

The skewers......... were....... hella..... spicy...... It was expected but seriously so spicy none of us could eat it normally. BUT! It was pretty good? HaNeul didn't like the after taste. The beef was obviously harder to eat, but the lamb was chewy and softer. Really nice seasoning /again, really spicy tho.

Oh yeah, we got the non-spicy broth.

We ended up our food time with Snapchat. Snapchat this, Snapchat that, but mostly Ling's face because queen Ling here ♥ Ends up now Sandy and Erika are Snapchat friends, Ling still got no Snapchat and Ling answering HaNeul's friends Skype call :D #NeverleaveyourphonealonewithLing

Obviously, while going home, we're going back with stinky coats and hair. Amazing smell eh.... But then, very satisfied tummy so it's great!

ALSO!! In the end we never got our single bowl of rice... Such sadness. We were full but the bowl of rice never came.... You were missed bowl of rice.. :'(

After we parted ways with Sandy since she was taking another metro line, we passed through Complexe DesJardins and obviously got ICE CREAM!! ICE CREAM YOU SCREAM WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE SCREAM YEAH!!

Unfortunately, we didn't take a picture of the ice cream cones? Someone was too excited to eat the ice cream so hihi~

So, as usually, we end our day 'Lazy Saturday' on a Sunday, at NosThés!

DAY 31
OH DAMNNNN. LAST DAY OF THE YEAR!! LAST DAY OF THE YEAR THAT HAD THE PRETTIEST PANTONE COLORS.

Well. As you could tell, it's not 2017 here in eastern Canada yet but yeaaah! There's a spider at the corner of my room omg.

Although it's New Years Eve, we don't really celebrate so yeah. This morning, I got a call from the mattress company saying they were gonna deliver in 15~20 minutes. Mind you, they told us 5~8pm the night before so like: wth?? When I say morning i mean 7:58am. I went to sleep at 4am like please.

Then I went back to sleep and slept until 2pm #satisfied! I pretty much only ate after I woke up. I can feel it. I'm gaining weight OTL

I've been eating this all day and I'm not even halfway done

TOMORROW WE'RE HAVING OUR TRADITIONAL H1ME MEETUPPPPPP YASSSSSSS HAPPY NEW YEAR PEOPLE!!!!!


DAY 30
Wow. Almost time to say goodbye to 2016 DAMNNN.

I woke up at 10am today but it was too early so I decided to go back to sleep (I think it took me a good 40 minutes to fall back asleep). I woke up at 12:34 and went out with my mom to Costco!

On our way back, my mom got herself a new mattress. Weird right? WELP. It was 50% off because of after-xmas sale so why not ;D

Then we went to an asian market and I saw this

DAY 31

Eyy!! Finally the last day of the month, but also the last day of the year!!
I'm kinda writing this in a rush because I'm about to go out now.

To be very honest, my morning was very unproductive? Legit, I slept through MBC Gayo because I was too lazy to get up, then I woke up around 12PM? Yeah, not so productive for a last day of the year.
Honestly, I wouldn't have gone out today and stay in bed hihi~

Since we're having hotpot tonight as a family, I had to go out and buy some meat.. We're having hotpot with H1ME tomorrow too!! Hihi ♥

So while shopping I found these Big Bang drinks hihi~ There was only 4 of them? I don't remember I just saw Daesung and went OH! But no, I didn't buy one hahahhahh

I also saw Yerin on a grape juice at the Korean Market, but didn't buy that one either... I'm forever loyal to the peach drink even if it's SinB on it. What is Yuju? Imma Google that later hihihi~
Actually, I Googled now #curiosity, and it seems like only SinB (Peach) Yerin (Grape) Group (Apple)? Eh, oh well.

The day's pretty gloomy for a last day of the year, but then it was snowing a lot too~

General Overview
We're back with weekly food! Hopefully we'll be able to keep up this time.. Haha..

Anywa! It all started when Erika and Ling were craving for some Shake Shack after classes.. We decided to look up on Google and found this burger place. The reviews were kinda low (Why is the average only 3.5??????), but the pictures were fancy, so we decided to give it a try. Even with that nasty comment about a chef. Our guts said to go, so we did. Always follow your guts, they bring you to amazing places.

When we got in, the lady at the counter was really really nice! Like seriously really nice! She was enthusiastic about the burgers and quickly explained us how the menu worked. We both got a basic burger with caramelized onions, tomato lettuce. The other toppings were only $1-3 which was very awesome!

At some point, we were left alone.. Like completely alone. Only Erika and Ling in da house yo!

Oh! Also! According to the many reviews on the wall, we HAD to go visit the washroom! At the beginning, we were a bit sketch.. Like why visit the washroom.. Erik went first, then Ling.. Yo man, this washroom is so fancy, way too awesome! ALL FOUR WALLS ARE MIRRORS! Plus the place was really clean too, so nothing to complain about, just way too amazing!

- Mixed Fries (Regular Potato + Sweet Potato)
These fries were really good! We both got the Spicy Mayonnaise sauces, as suggested in the reviews on the wall! Especially since we weren't going to go boring with the traditionnal ketchup, but no hate for ketchup okay. That's good too. But seriously, the sauce made the fries amazing!  To be quite honest, they were kinda tasteless just fries alone, like some fried things, you know? But with the sauce, it gave a great flavour punch. Wow! Amazing!

Ling's verdict
We all know I'm super indecisive so I just went and picked from their suggested menu. But man, this combo was really good! I wonder how it'd be with the coleslaw.. If only it wasn't out of stock.. I'd come back just to try it with coleslaw haha.. It's just 2 streets away from my school anyway~ I'll be really honest, the only issue I got with the burger is that it's very big. It's not even an issue issue, it's just issue, get it? (Ling's amazing vocabulary!) I ended up not finishing it, but now I totally regret because I want a burger.. Oh! Also, I didn't eat the tomato... When I picked up the burger, it just slid off, so I didn't bother putting it back it, too lazy hihi~

Erika's verdict
Okay. It doesn't look amazingly appetizing in this photo but I promise. This was amazing. This entire combination was so good. Actually, I think I want a burger again. Although, the tomato slice was too massive and we both had to remove it. I would totally go back for it.

Of course, at the end of our outing, we went to NosThés to get a drink. This time, we only got one each since we were tight on time, but still got our chitchat time ;)

General Overview
Wooh! We're doing something a bit different this week! We only got drinks~

This would've totally been a 5 stars, but the worker... Yeah. Didn't really seemed like she was excited or wanted to be there. That brought the mood down, y'know. Otherwise, this spot is perfect! Awesome study place as it's quiet and right next to the metro. Great place for students, really!

PS: Holy cow... This post has been on draft since June 3rd, but we never posted this... Sorry... We're like 3 months late haha..

- Italian Soda Mango and Honey
- Italian Soda Peach

Ling's verdict
Since it's peach, of course it's good!! If you know me, I'm a huge fan of Italian Soda, especially before class at Second Cup LOL! But Van Houtte doesn't disappoint either~ Although there're only 3 flavours.. Seriously, the sweetness and sparkling of the water, it's amazing! Very very refreshing, definitely a good go-to drink if you just need a quick sip in the hot weather!

Erika's verdict
I actually really like this drink! It's really refreshing and it's not what I call "diabetes galore"~! I got it a few more times after that hehehehehe. But as stated above, the worker was really =.=

FINALLY!! AFTER SO LONG PROCRASTINATING!!
2 months.. But it's finally up and not another forgotten vlog hehe..

Anyway, this is our trip to New York City and KCON! Erika finally met her other hubby S.Coups! (Because Mark is Erika's main hubby, says Ling ♥)

This trip was so fun, definitely no regrets!

This was............. Dark and confusing WHEN WE WERE WATCHING IT. Know that we somewhat understood it afterwards! Flowers being thrown at the mirror = throwing away the flower boy band image ;D and yeah more stuff that I forgot. This song wasn't really my style, it sounded a bit too... heavy? idk but yeah it's still great though

Okay. Let's be honest. Every single time we watch FT Island, we're very confused, so we read the comments later and boom! The explanation is there and we're completely off... Ha.... Anyway. The song's still very good. The whole concept is so deep and got so much emotion, I really like it. Plus Hongki's voice is really really really good, like alway. And holy Jaejin is quite handsome *wink wonk*
